    About FILTOM Nama Milk Ceramide (Non-heat-treated raw Milk Ceramide)

    Ceramide deficiency is the primary cause of dry skin. In FILTOM, we are proud to provide natural products derived from the rare “milk ceramides” found in fresh raw cow’s milk.

     

    The ceramide present in fresh raw cow’s milk have a structure similar to those found in human skin, allowing them to penetrate deeply and deliver maximum benefits. Our cutting-edge extraction process, developed at the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park in collaboration with Hamasaki Farm Corporation (supplier of fresh milk) and the University of Kitakyushu (for allergy test development), ensures that these precious milk ceramides remain in their original state- potent and effective.

     

    Hamasaki Farm is in a green mountain forest facing the sea in the north of Kitakyushu City. Fresh raw milk from Hamasaki Farm is delivered on a weekly basis to the FILTOM factory in the Research Park, where it is immediately processed into Nama Milk Ceramide.

    The Nama Milk Ceramide M9 Series is a comprehensive skincare line that was designed to provide a full experience of moisturization from first to last step.

     

    The series includes three products: Nama Milk Ceramide m9 Water, Nama Milk Ceramide m9 Serum, and Nama Milk Ceramide m9 Cream according to three fundamental steps of moisturization: hydration, treatment, and moisture seal, respectively.

     

     To use the products, begin by cleansing your face, follow with the m9 Beauty Water to infuse your skin with moisture, then apply the m9 Serum to address specific areas of concern, and conclude the routine with the m9 Beauty Cream. Notably, the m9 Beauty Water and Serum boast a water-based formula that facilitates the deep absorption of raw milk ceramides into your skin, while the M9 Beauty Cream, an oil-based formulation, effectively prevents dryness.

    Nama Milk Ceramide is extracted directly from fresh raw milk, sourced from a farm in Kitakyushu.

    The moisturizing effect of ceramide is amplified through its interaction with other ingredients such as proteins and polysaccharides.

    This raw, extracted milk ceramide retains its original composition, allowing you to experience the true moisturizing power of ceramide on your skin.

    What is Placenta Extract?

    Placenta extract is a substance derived from the placenta, which is an organ that develops in the uterus during pregnancy. The placenta is rich in nutrients and growth factors, including amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. The raw placenta extract in FILTOM is from the raw pig placenta. 

    Usually the extract is obtained by breaking down the placenta using methods such as enzymatic digestion or chlorine decomposition, and then sterilizing the resulting liquid or paste. It is used in various products, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and dietary supplements.

    The Special of FILTOM Nama Placenta Extract

    The FILTOM Nama Placenta Extract contains the non-heated purest placenta which is filtered the PD separation to extract all nutrition like EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) and to remove bacteria and virus from raw pig placenta.

     

    There are 3 features:

     

    1st, the non-heated purest placenta contains high concentration of EGF. According to our study, a fresh law pig placenta contains 205 pg/ml, and FILTOM’s non-heated placenta contains 148 pg/ml which is over 72 % of a raw placenta. But a heated placenta has almost no EGF. That means the non-heated placenta contains not only EGF, also all fresh natural nutrition like amino acids, vitamins, minerals and so on our skin system needs.

  • A Joint Research Agreement with Kitakyushu City University on a New Allergy Testing Method

    We have concluded a joint research agreement with Kitakyushu City University on a new allergy testing method (also known as Skin Prick Test).

     

    Skin Prick Test

    This Skin Prick Test is a method used to detect skin inflammation that we have jointly developed with Kitakyushu City University.

     

    Until now, allergy tests relied on visual inspection, but we have introduced multiple simultaneous analysis through image processing, making it possible to analyze the impact on the skin from multiple angles. As a result, we have been able to quantify skin sensitivity, which varies from person to person.

     

    We have been focusing on this Prick Stamp Method since 2015, and last year we continued our development with the support of the “New Growth Strategy Promotion Research and Development Project (FAIS)”.

     

    In light of these results, we have concluded a joint research agreement for full-scale introduction into our company.

     

    So far, the safety and gentleness to the skin of the Placenta C6 series have been confirmed through evaluations, but we aim to provide even more reassuring skincare and will continue our research.

     

     

     

  • PD Membrane Filtration vs Convention Heat Sterilization

    PD Membrane Filtration vs Convention Heat Sterilization

    Despite the rigorous safety management of the raw material and transportation processes, any remaining infectious particles or allergenic components are removed using an 18nm PD separation membrane.

     

    Final decontamination is confirmed through full lot bacterial inspection. PD membrane separation is conducted at temperatures below 1°C to prevent bacterial proliferation during processing. Additionally, all safety aspects are verified through post-production allergy testing.

     

    The size of the Japanese encephalitis virus ranges from 20 to 50nm, and the hepatitis E virus is about 30nm. Since no viruses smaller than 20nm have been identified, the 18nm membrane separation ensures the removal of even unknown viruses.

     

    This method is particularly effective because viral heat resistance varies significantly among different types, making membrane separation the most effective means of eliminating the risk posed by unknown viruses and maintaining the active cell shapes.

     

    The membrane separation process also removes heat-resistant spores, including endotoxins and bacterial debris, which pose issues during heat treatment.

     

      

    For cosmetic raw materials other than placenta, we use 100% pure raw materials without any trace additives (carry-over), ensuring high allergy safety.

    In compliance with the Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a sterilization process necessitates a removal rate exceeding six digits.
